Sadly have only ever seen Kerry (Ellis) and obviously Ruthie on TAC. Kerry's death is very touching but I much prefer to listen to Joanna Ampil as she sounds extremley weak towards the end.

I can't believe I'm reviving a 3 year old thread, but I have to say it's a tie between Ruthie and Joanna. I also love the thing Ruthie says when she sings "God" with Valjean and Eponine in the Finale. So beautiful.

I hate it when a Fantine belts "wake". It's supposed to be soft and in head voice! Ruthie Henshall does it perfectly. Patti LuPone doesn't.
