Watching TAC tonight...

Now how is that for Christmas?
Wink

I'll be on the lookout for funny stuff between the actors sitting behind the singers.
Catherine

I watched it yesterday!

I kept noticing Little Cosette drinking water during... come to me I think

And Michael Ball looked like he was wiping his nose in Lea's hair during a little fall of rain.

Twas good. I was in tears at the end, having never seen it before.

Hannah Chick is really pouring some water into herself, yes.

Sadly I didn't watch all of it this time, just some highlights (my grandfather loves Bring Him Home and we watched Master of the House) and then from starters up until Confrontation (Sad)

I also noticed that Colm Wilkinson is smiling at the Thenardiers while he is waiting with Hannah to step up to the mic for The Waltz of Treachery. I think it's cute.

It's also cute that Ruthie is stamping her feet (I don't know how else to explain this) during MOTH.

And the single upright hair on Colm's wig (it is a wig, right?) made me giggle.

Speaking of Ruthie (I hate to take a thread this far off topic but...) I saw her in a TV movie of A Christmas Carol the Musical. It starred Kelsey Grammer as Scrooge, I believe. But Ruthie played Scrooge's mother, and she was simply amazing as usual. She sounded great, and still didn't have to unclench her teeth. She really becomes her characters. She looked so far from the way she usually does. So aged. And I loved it. Okay, now back to Les Mis.

I saw snippets of that once. I used to be a fan of hers but that has sort of declined a little bit now. I was a young girl with an fascination for beauty and long blonde hair (aka Ruthie as Fantine in the TAC). She will forever have a special place in my heart though.

Know what bothers me? That in the TAC they never show her 'en face.'
jackissensational

Yeah, that annoys me big time. Confused
Fantine

Wonder why...
lesmisloony

Whaa? Ruthie was in that weird Frasier Christmas Carol musical?

...No, seriously... I walked in on my mom watching that and sat down for a bit, but I completely missed that, I suppose. I was really distracted by how permanently Frasier-y Kelsey Grammar is to me. Even Sideshow Bob... And I convinced myself that the ghost of Christmas present was Collins from RENT... gimme a sec to check imdb, actually...

WIN! It *was* Collins.

Okay, topic hijackery over. My point is... I missed the Ruthie part and I love Frasier a lot.

Well she only played a small part.

She doesn't seem to be doing much at all lately. Apparently she is slated to be in a new musical... Well if that turns out the way Woman in White did...

[I seem to have some trouble with my English lately. My apologies.]

Singature snap!

Teehee, I didn't copy it, I just thought.

Did Javert go white haired after.... One Day More? Is it because he was pretending to be a student ?(a bit weird of logic there) or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me?

And I noticed the weird Marius and Cosette editing in the fianle... that was funny.

That line helps me when I'm feeling depressed.

He does change wigs, but I always assumed it was because all the actors used intermission to change whatever costumes needed changing, and said intermission is, in fact, after ODM. Right?
EponineBarker

Yeah, it is.

That always bugged me for some reason... Confused Don't know why, it just does.
lesmisloony

I always crack up at that shot, because Judy is like, "Hi! Hi! Love song!" and Michael just kind of stares right through her in a very Mariusish way.

lol Yeah, it is funny, it's just that when they reused that shot in the finale, it seemed to disturb the mood, I think, because Cosette's like all happy in that shot, and in the next one, she's all worried about Valjean. That's really the only thing about having that shot there that bugs me.
ErikProuvaire

I want to watch my TAC.
But alas, I can't. My friend borrowed it from me back in November and I haven't gotten it back yet. And then when that friend gives it back, there's another friend I'm supposed to loan it to.
So it'll be a while before I get to see the TAC again...
*is depressed about it*
