When is this going t be available for community theatres?

How long is it going to be before community organizations can acquire the rights to put on LES MIS? I know that awful high school version is out there...but are there any plans to release this in any other format?
music is my life!!!

depending on which country you live in..... in the UK, i think you can get the liscence from Josef-Weinberger. In the US, i've seen it on MTI (musical theatre internatoional). Google them. Smile
wtfchuck

I'm 99% sure that the rights have been released in the U.K.

it can be done by youth theatre groups. That is to say the cast has to be 19 and under when rehearsals start. Amateur groups in the UK cannot do it.

My local youth group did it in 2005 or 2006, but this was before I was old enough to join Sad And I know that we definitely did it legally. This is the UK, btw! Wink

Rights are available for amateur groups in New Zealand - I realise this is probably no good to you, though!
