The processor fan on my desktop computer died yesterday, and I won't be getting a replacement for another week or so. Hence, Mizzies is on a temporary hiatus.

She's middle aged in terms of technology years, so I should've been prepared, but it really blind-sided me. ^_^;;

My desktop computer, Hermes, affectionately known as "Wooby," is very very sick. I won�t be able to use him for the rest of the semester, since he�s going home this coming Sunday to get a new processor fan. I never realized how ridiculously attached I am to that computer until now. I mean, my dad built him for me, and he�s MINE...so no more big music posts, comic strips, photography, or video games until May. =(

Oh, alas! I hope he gets better!

I know how you can get weirdly attached to things, though. My old computer monitor was called Bamatabois, and I had him for about seven years. Everything internet-y I did until the twelfth grade was via Bammy. But then he died and got replaced with another I named Homere Hogu. Because it was black. Mr. Green But it bothered me.
Same went for my brother crashing and totalling my minivan Hugo. I cried for a full week, and I still feel awful and miss him. Like, as much as I miss deceased pets.

...do I need help?

Thank goodness, I thought I was the only one who named inanimate objects- I blame it on being addicted to the film of Beauty and the Beast when I was little, although I only do it to musical instruments.

My Bb clarinet is Joly (it sounds as if it's suffering from a cold half the time)
My tenor saxophone is Phoebe
My A clarinet is Chandler.
My alto saxophone is Jasper.

You seem to have missed the fact that I don't really follow the brick or the musical 100%. I kind of take half of what they are from one medium or the other and extrapolate.
